This pictorial poster is an "Official Bird's-Eye View" of the 1931 International Colonial Exposition in Paris. The map is an aerial view of the exposition site, located in the Bois de Vincennes. It depicts in great detail the various pavilions and temporary buildings built for the occasion, as well as Lake Daumesnil. Walkways, bridges, and attractions, such as the Palais de la Porte Dorée (Permanent Museum of the Colonies) and the Zoological Park, are clearly visible. The map is illustrated in an old-fashioned plan style, with a predominance of yellow/ochre tones for the buildings and blue/green for the vegetation and water. Roads and various access points, including metro stations, are indicated. The dimensions are 80 cm by 50 cm.
