Antique map of La Pérouse's voyage to Korea - ca. 1790

This antique map shows La Pérouse's voyage along the southern coast of Korea in May 1787. It depicts the route of the French frigates, La Boussole and L'Astrolabe, as well as the lands sighted, notably the Quelpaert Islands (Jeju). It was published at the end of the 18th century and measures 79.5x57cm.

Condition: 

Significant folds, minor tears outside the map area. Please note, my maps are old and are not always in perfect condition!
