Cassini map of Vendôme, Châteaudun and their surroundings

This linen-backed Cassini map, entitled "Vendôme" (N°28), represents the north of the Loir-et-Cher, a small part of the south of the Eure-et-Loir and the west of the Loiret. It was produced by the Cassini family at the end of the 18th century. Its period colors are magnificent. Its unfolded dimension is 91x58.5cm (21 sections).
