Vintage Japanese poster from the 1970s, 81 x 54 cm, representing a board game to travel through the regions of Japan. Like a game of snakes and ladders, the route crosses the country's major cities and emblematic sites, playfully illustrated: temples, local specialties, folk figures, landscapes and monuments. Printed in bright colors (red, blue, black), this game is both decorative and cultural, reflecting the popular Japanese aesthetic of the Shōwa period. The side inserts feature typical Japanese characters and icons, reinforcing the retro charm of the whole. A rare and cheerful object, perfect for lovers of Japanese graphics, vintage games or illustrated cartography.
